Iranian 'Nobody' to go to Bulgaria

Iranian short animation 'Nobody' has been set to compete at the 15th edition of the Palace International Short Film Festival (OSMOSIS) in Bulgaria.

The 9-minute Iranian title will compete at the Best Student Animation Category of the Bulgarian event.

Directed by Elham Toroqi, ‘Nobody’ tells the story of a white cat living in city of black residents. The cat tries hard to get food but no one seems bothered to give any.

The flick has so far succeeded to attend a number of international animation festivals, including the 22nd ANIMAC International Film Festival in Spain, the 11th ANIMANIMA International Animation Festival in Serbia, and the first Bute Street Film Festival in the UK.

The Palace International Film Festival is seeking feature length and short films (under 30 minutes) from all genres with particular attention to first time and young talented filmmakers.

The 15th edition of the OSMOSIS is slated for June 23-30, 2018, at Queen Marie Palace in the picturesque Black sea town of Balchik, Bulgaria.
